Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of statements on his social media account between July 18 and July 19, 2025, addressing issues related to former President Trump, cryptocurrency policy developments, and alleged misconduct during the Obama administration.

On July 18, Davidson criticized legal actions against former President Trump. He wrote: "Seriously, if President Trump had committed real crimes, Democrats wouldn’t have needed to make up stuff for their lawfare schemes. If this were true, it would have been used. Nonsense @wsj."

Later that day, Davidson acknowledged recent legislative progress in the cryptocurrency sector and thanked several government officials for their efforts. He stated: "CRYPTO WEEK SUMMARY Thanks to @POTUS who truly made this possible. Special thanks to @RepFrenchHill, @SenatorHagerty, dozens of strong House and Senate staff, and members of the House and Senate committees who have poured years of effort to protect consumers, investors..."

On July 19, Davidson referenced documents alleging high-level conspiracy during the Obama administration: " 'These documents detail a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House…'"

Davidson has represented Ohio's 8th District in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016. Before joining Congress, he served as a trustee on the Concord Township Board from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson has established himself as an active voice on national political issues.
