Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of tweets on July 23 and 24, 2025, addressing recent political developments and actions he supports.
On July 23, Davidson wrote: "President Obama and his administration appear to have engaged in a treasonous conspiracy. I applaud @DNIGabbard for the DoJ referral and urge swift prosecution for all crimes committed." Later that day, he added: "Just the facts, Ma’am."
Continuing his commentary into the next day, Davidson tweeted on July 24: "Crazy idea! How about some recess appointments? cc: @LeaderJohnThune, @SpeakerJohnson"
Davidson has served as the representative for Ohio’s 8th District since replacing John Boehner in 2016. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson currently resides in Troy.
