Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, has recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing issues related to privacy, central bank digital currencies (CBDC), and public awareness.
On July 24, 2025, Davidson wrote: "Privacy is the base layer for ethical AI. Immediate action is necessary."
The following day, July 25, he raised questions about federal spending and the development of digital currency infrastructure. In his post, Davidson stated: " Pure speculation, but… How much went for CBDC server farms and CBDC development? Audit the Fed. Ban CBDC."

Davidson succeeded John Boehner in Congress in 2016 and previously served as a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, he currently resides in Troy.
