Warren Davidson, U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, posted a series of messages on his social media account on August 5 and 6, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political leadership to the role of the press.
On August 5, Davidson wrote, "Thank you for your attention to this matter." Later that day, he commented on recent political developments: "It turns out, all we needed was a different President. Hopefully, Congress can also provide legal CLARITY swiftly."
Continuing his commentary into the following day, Davidson discussed media integrity in a post at 3:59 a.m.: "An honest free press is essential to defending freedom. Instead, we have the controlled media. The actual requirement? Accurately modeling data, then owning inaccuracies until the models are accurate, perhaps even predictive. Tough job, but not political."
Davidson has served as Ohio’s 8th District representative in Congress since succeeding John Boehner in 2016 and previously held office as a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson continues to engage with constituents through public statements and online platforms.
