Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, recently shared his views on ongoing political and legislative issues through several posts on social media.
On August 7, Davidson commented on legal actions involving cryptocurrency, stating: "I’m still stunned that @AGPamBondi brought this case. Biden’s war on crypto was illegal and unjust. President Trump clearly reversed course. Apparently, they didn’t get the memo in New York? This is the equivalent of prosecuting gun makers for what someone else does with a gun."
The following day, August 8, Davidson posted about his appearance on television and returning to his home district: "Started the day with @MorningsMaria… Great to back home in #OH08!"
Later that same day, he advocated for legislation regarding congressional representation: "Pass my Equal Representation Act. Members of Congress represent US citizens. Congressional districts should be drawn on that basis. Non-citizens have embassies and consulates."
Davidson has represented Ohio’s 8th District since replacing John Boehner in 2016 and previously served as a trustee in Concord Township from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, he currently resides in Troy.
