Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, recently addressed topics including election integrity, financial autonomy, and foreign policy in a series of posts on his social media account.
On August 8, 2025, Davidson posted: "You can’t have honest elections without an honest Census."
The following day, August 9, he commented on individual financial rights by writing: "If someone else controls your money, your freedom is conditional. The right to transact pre-dates any government and is essential to defending freedom. Protect self-custody.
Keep Your Cash.
Keep Your Coins."
Later the same day, Davidson turned his attention to U.S. foreign policy with the statement: "America is a republic, not an empire. We don’t need to accept every invitation to war, and we certainly don’t need to fund it.
Keep calm and defend freedom."
Davidson has been active in public service since serving on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005 before joining Congress in 2016 after succeeding John Boehner. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970 and currently residing in Troy at age 53, Davidson continues to engage constituents through social media platforms while addressing issues related to governance and personal freedoms.
