Warren Davidson, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio’s 8th district since 2016, recently addressed topics ranging from religious safety to economic policy in a series of posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
On August 11, Davidson commented on current media coverage involving Tucker Carlson, asking his followers: "I see @TuckerCarlson is making some news today. Where would you feel more safe living as a Christian and sharing the gospel?"
Later that day, he turned his attention to monetary policy debates, writing: "The future of money is the most important policy debate right now, and it’s being suppressed while central banks develop CBDC." The acronym CBDC refers to Central Bank Digital Currencies.
On August 12, Davidson addressed federal spending and inflation: "Systems find balance. Excessive federal spending is still fueling inflation. Thankfully, the fiscal year ends 9/30 and Congress can fund less government swiftly. While improbable, this is the remedy.
More freedom.
Less government.
Sound money.
Secure borders.
Strong families."
Davidson has served in Congress since replacing John Boehner in 2016 and previously held a position on the Concord Township Board of Trustees from 2004 to 2005. Born in Sidney, Ohio in 1970, Davidson currently resides in Troy.
